Description/Responsibilities: 
SUMMARY – Under the leadership and direction of the sales team, the Sales Intern will learn to create support documents used to identify leads, drive revenue and improve vendor relations. The Sales Intern will also learn how to interact in a professional sales environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Under the direction of sales team members the intern will learn how to create a PowerPoint deck to capture prospectus offerings to include all inventory items for use in future sales pitches. 2. Under the direction of sales team members the intern will learn how to create a partner year end review template and work to complete one for each vendor. 3. The intern will be tasked with looking at IOUG and OAUG web sites and will observe and learn samples of best pages, best practices, and how they communicate. 4. The intern will be tasked with looking at ISPA and other association web sites - sample of best pages, best practices, how do they communicate. 5. Under the director of the sales team the intern will review old Vendor Files and will confirm that the same information is in the NetForum system. 6. Under the direction of sales team members the sales intern will perform other educational related duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications: 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1. Working knowledge of SEO 2. Strong organizational skills 3. Interest in and experience with social media 4. Ability to work independently on projects in a fast-paced environment, assess project needs and set personal deadlines 5. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and email marketing software a plus
