Description/Responsibilities:
The Youth Ministry Internship Program (YMI) at Crosspointe Church (CPC) is designed to offer collegiate ministry students an opportunity to work within the youth ministry department to gain hands on experience. Because we view the intern experience as an extension of their formal education and a training program for future church leaders, CPC attempts to take a professional approach to the development of these servant leaders. Interns are not assigned menial task, rather, they are treated as students, apprentices, and staff members with specific responsibilities and training opportunities.
Requirements/Qualifications:
All YMI candidates must have a salvation experience as set forth in Romans 10:9-‐10. All teaching and ministry YMI candidates perform during the internship period must be biblically sound and align with the Doctorial Articles of Faith adopted by the Pentecostal Church of God. All YMI candidates must be currently enrolled and in good standing with a post secondary university or college seeking a degree or certification in Pastoral Studies, Theology, or other related fields of ministry studies.
Application Instructions:
The Youth Ministry Intern position is viewed as a pre-‐professional opportunity. Applicants should be professional. Please include a typed resume and cover letter of intent.
