Nursery Attendant

Supervises the children in First Church Nursery and provides a positive, friendly and safe environment to play. • Interact and loving care for nursery children through play, talking, and reading to them. • Properly check children in and out of the nursery to ensure security. • Follow proper procedures for safety, discipline, diapering and toilet usage, hand-washing, and cleanliness. • Check floor daily to spot clean as needed. • Follow proper procedure for diaper disposal and linen changing. • Provide snacks on as-needed basis only. • Communicate with nursery coordinator/ children's minister any comments, problems or needs. • Wipe off used toys on a daily basis as outlined in procedures manual.
