Description/Responsibilities:
Director of Student Ministries for our youth between 6th grade and 12th grade.
-Coordinate and implement fellowship programs for our youth
-Plan and oversee youth bible studies
-Plan, organize, and lead mission trips, spiritual retreats, summer camps, and other student ministries.
-Develop, draft, and maintain a budget for student ministries
-Reach out to and communicate with our youth that are not currently participating in church activities
-Coordinate, organize, and select materials for student Sunday school and Methodist youth fellowship lessons
- parent volunteers and develop relationships with parents
-Provide friendly adult leadership for our youth
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must have a close relationship with Jesus Christ. The relationship should ignite a desire to guide our youth to discover and develop their personal faith in Jesus Christ. We seek a person that our youth will trust and call a friend while maintaining the confidence of our staff and congregation.
