Description/Responsibilities: 
Responsible for coordinating administrative and veterinary details related to the boarding, breeding, and selling of horses for clients of Taylor Made. Provides administrative assistance to the Vice President of Boarding and General Farm manager through preparing correspondence, transcribing notes, updating and organizing spreadsheets;runs pedigrees, prepares comparables, reconciles credit card bill, creates and updates spreadsheets and generates reports;organizes meeting agendas and prepares materials. Assists with arrivals, departures and sending weekly breeding reports to owners. Orders and invoices supplements and miscellaneous services;enters monthly stable charges; sends foal information to the TDN;works at the public auction sales to ship horses back to the farm, assists with repository and generates reports. Responsible for Jockey Club registration for live foals on the farm; Requests Stallion Service Certificates from breeding farms; Oversees the nomination process of foals to the Breeder's Cup. Nominates horses for the Kentucky Thoroughbred Development Fund and Kentucky breeder's Incentive Fund or other state-specific groups by client request. Will work a weekend booking rotation during breeding season.
Requirements/Qualifications: 
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be adaptable, flexible, and have ability to develop and sustain effective cooperative working relationships. Results driven and self motivated. Person must be extremely organized and detailed focused. The ability to work independently and across multiple departments is essential. Must be highly ethical. Graduation from high school or the equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field preferred. One year of previous experience working in an office setting required. Knowledge of the equine industry and a good understanding of animal health issues (from education or experience) preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the Internet required.
