Women's Soccer secures KIAC title
Andrea Howell scored the game winner in the 44th minute to give Asbury an undefeated season in conference play at 3-0 and the outright championship of the KIAC. The win improved Asbury to 11-4-1 overall. Miranda Wiley put the Eagles on the board first scoring in the 13th minute off a Howell assist but Spalding's Megan Davis answered back with the equalizer in the 27th minute before Howell's winner.
The Eagles next play Franklin (Ind.) College on the road on Tuesday, October 24th before venturing to the KIAC Tournament as the #1 seed in Berea on Friday & Saturday. Times and opponents will be announced as they become available.
