Winter Preview Weekend, Jan. 24-25
WILMORE, KY—High school students are invited to attend Winter Preview Weekend on the campus of Asbury College, Jan. 24-25. View the video.
This weekend involves an overnight stay in our residence halls, classroom visits, academic open houses, worship in chapel and an opportunity to witness the Battle of the Air Bands.
Here are just a few items to check off your list when you visit the campus:
- Be sure to ask for an Ale-8 when you visit the admissions office – it’s a Kentucky favorite!
- Wear something comfortable. You’ll walk around as you tour our campus. Ask lots of questions of your student guide – they like that!
- Come ready to worship. Chapel is the heartbeat of our campus and is a great time of praise and worship with the entire student body.
- Talk to the professors – ask them questions about the class and his or her area of expertise. Sit in on classes and get a feel for what college life can be like for you.
- Bring your parents. They can find out about the affordability and value of an Asbury College education when they meet with financial aid staff about scholarships, grants and other financial aid opportunities.
- Ask tough questions and expect honest answers. Ask about our leadership opportunities, mission trips, study abroad programs, ropes challenge course, community standards, intramurals and equine center. We want you to find the college that fits you best.
And, most of all, enjoy your time at Asbury College.
