Women's Basketball falls at Transylvania
The Eagles trailed at half 39-31 and would fall behind by 15 points early in the second half before rallying to a one point deficit, 66-65 after a Lindsey Wood three-pointer. Transy however would make the plays down the stretch to secure the win and drop the Eagles to 4-2 on the year. Wood led the team with 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the floor, including 4-of-8 from three-point range. Joining her in double figures was the inside duo of Jamie Keller and Anna Stephenson with 16 and 14 points respectively.
The Eagles will break for the holiday but return to the floor at home on Tuesday, November 28th against Kentucky Christian University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
