Women's Basketball falls to Spalding, 70-52

Thirty one turnovers negated a shooting percentage advantage held by Asbury in Monday night's loss to Spalding. The 31 turnovers mark the seventh game over 30 turnovers on the season for the Eagles. The positive note was Anna Stephenson, who scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting as well as a perfect night from the line, shooting 6-of-6.

The loss drops Asbury to 10-9 overall, 2-5 in conference play. The Eagles venture out of conference on Thursday, traveling to Cincinnati-Clermont. It is the second game of the season between the two teams with Asbury winning 100-57 on the second day of play of the Rita Pritchett Invitational. Tip-off for Monday's game (February 5th) at UC-Clermont is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The team will be back at home on Thursday, February 8th against Berea.
