Women's Basketball wraps up Pritchett Invitational with win

The Eagles featured balanced scoring by placing five players in double-digits in the 100-57 win against an overmatched UC-Clermont team that played with only five players. Lindsey Wood led the Eagles with 27 points and also paced the team with nine rebounds along with Morgan Freeman. The Eagles depth for the season was made apparent at the end of the game when freshman Donna Beth Craig was inserted into the game with just under six minutes left in the game, erupting for 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc. Craig's last three point basket gave Asbury their even 100 points. With the win the Eagles now stand at 4-1 on the season as they head to face Transylvania University in Lexington on Tuesday, November 21st. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Six players were selected of the various teams to the All-Invitiational team this weekend. Asbury placed senior forward Jamie Keller and freshman guard Sarah Yates. Below is the complete list of the team:

G Sarah Cripps, Mid-Continent

G Brittany Caple, Indiana-Southeast

F Andrea Chambers, Indiana-Southeast

G Sara Chapman, Cincinnati-Clermont

G Sarah Yates, Asbury College
