Volleyball closes season with second round loss at KIAC Tournament
Asbury won on Friday, defeating St. Louis College of Pharmacy, 30-15, 30-14, 30-16. Melissa Phillips led the team with 19 assists while Christina Marye led in kills with 11. The team then returned to the court on Saturday to face top-seeded Spalding University, falling to the Pelicans, 24-30, 13-30, 26-30. Danielle Morrison led with 12 kills while Melissa Phillips recorded 29 assists in her final match for her career. The loss brings to a close the Eagles season at 12-24.
