Swimming & Diving puts together strong showing at conference meet
Asbury finished 6th in womens and 11th in mens at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Meet this past weekend in Charlotte, N.C. Highlighting the result was a sweep by the diving combination of Ashley Poore and Caitlynn Taylor, reversing 1-2 finishes in diving events. Taylor won the 1-meter competition with a score of 397.95 to Poore's 383.60, while Poore captured the 3-meter at 415.85 to Taylor's 375.15.
The team will now send several individuals to the national meet in San Antonio, Texas held from February 28th thru March 3rd:

Kerry Hancock: 1650 Free, 100 Fly, 400 IM
Hannah Helfen: 50 Free
Brad Huster: 200 Free, 100 Back, 200 Back, 100 Fly
Alex Keyser: 500 Free
Kelsey Perrine: 100 Back, 200 Back, 200 IM, 400 IM
Lorna Phillips: 1650 Free
Ashley Poore: 1 & 3 meter diving
Will Sallee: 100 Breast
Abigail Sterneman: 100 Breast, 200 Breast
Caitlynn Taylor: 1 & 3 meter diving
