New student orientation

WILMORE, KY— Welcome to Asbury College class of 2011! We’re glad you’re coming soon. Worried about getting lost on campus? Curious about orientation events? Want to know where your classes are located? Never fear. Asbury College has planned an informative and fun-filled weekend for all new and transferring students.
New Student Orientation is Thursday, Aug. 23 through Monday, Aug. 27, 2007. Registration is from 12:30 to 4 p.m. on Thursday in the Luce Physical Activities Center. Orientation weekend includes the President’s Convocation, First Serve, Cut Loose at the Luce and introductions to your transition and guidance (TAG) group. Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21 to Friday, Aug. 24, Asbury College provides an intercultural new student orientation (iTAG) for international students or those who have lived outside the U.S. for at least the past four years. Registration is from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Z.T. and Sarah M. Johnson Cafeteria Grille. Activities include a shopping trip, an out-on-the-town event and a Wilmore and campus tour.
