Class gains tools for the toolbox

Not many college students can say that they planned an event to promote a new Disney movie. Asbury College students in a special class with Prof. Greg Bandy can. Class project leads to second album

The Nougat Café Band, an easy listening instrumental group, produced their first album as a media project at Asbury College about a year ago. With encouragement from friends, the group of three became a full-fledged band. On Dec. 10 they release their second album, "Bells and Whistles: A Christmas Collection."  Read More »

Godspell Scores Record Attendance

Asbury Theatre and Cinema Performance Program's production of Godspell sells out to record crowds. Nearly 900 people filed into Doddridge-Holland Theatre for the fall production of TCP's Godspell. The previous attendance record of 600 for the 2005 production of David Mamets version of The Cherry Orchard was shattered. A great start for the one year old Theatre and Cinema Performance major and brand new Musical Theatre emphasis.  Read More »
