Art student finds inspiration in Cusco

During March 15-25, nine students from Asbury College went to Peru as the first team from WGM sent to Cusco. The purpose of the trip was to assist with a two-day youth camp sponsored by a new church in Cusco. Book on the life of Dr. Ernie Steury '53 published

Dr. Ernie Steury graduated from Asbury College in 1953 and was the first and only medical doctor at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya when he arrived in 1959. His life story is told by Gregg Lewis ’73 in “Miracle at Tenwek: The Life of Dr. Ernie Steury,” recently released by Discovery House Publishers.  Read More »

Women’s soccer team to spend break in Bolivia

The Asbury College women’s soccer team is headed to Santa Cruz, Bolivia for spring break, March 15-25. Working with World Gospel Mission, the team is organizing soccer clinics for local high schools, spending time at a local orphanage and providing general relief due to recent flooding in the country.  Read More »
