Brown Teaches At Kilns
Dr. Devin Brown, Asbury College English professor and C.S. Lewis Scholar, is teaching at the C.S. Lewis Foundation Study Centre at The Kilns in Oxford this summer. The Study Centre launched its Summer Seminars-in-Residence program in 2001 at The Kilns which is the beloved estate home of C.S. Lewis. The C.S. Lewis Foundation has continued and expanded this unusual program each summer since then. A maximum of eight participants each week enjoy the intimate seminar setting at The Kilns with discussions hosted by a distinguished C.S. Lewis scholar in residence. Brown's seminar sold out quickly this year.
"The opportunity to live and teach in C. S. Lewis's home is the dream of a lifetime. About once an hour I have to remind myself that it is really happening and not a dream.," says Brown.
