Acting on Aids takes action

On April 29, Acting on Aids (AOA) is collaborating with Johnson Hall Residence Life and Student Congress to show a documentary titled MISS HIV in Reasoner 214 at 7:30 p.m. Along with the film, there will also be a panel discussion with Professors and staff in order to encourage a more holistic view of the AIDS issue, empowering students to make educated decisions. Read More »

Sending hope to a town without it

Loneliness. Fear. Isolation. Death. Words commonly linked with AIDS. Partnering with World Vision, Asbury College is sending a new message to AIDS victims in Themba, Swaziland—a message of hope. More than 40 percent of Swaziland’s population have tested positively for AIDS, but thousands of others unknowingly carry the disease. Read More »
