Women's Soccer prevails against Taylor (Ind.)
Freshman Katie Crocker scored her team-leading, sixth goal of the season early in the 10th minute to give Asbury the lead they would not relinquish in a 2-0 win over Taylor (Ind.) University on Homecoming Weekend. Crocker would be key in Asbury's final goal, nearly scoring on a breakaway with freshman Amanda Bechtel who would put Crocker's saved shot home for the final margin.
The win puts Asbury at 6-8 on the season, sitting at 1-0 in conference heading into a match at home against conference foe, Berea, on Tuesday, October 9th. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
