Volleyball earns two of three at Shawnee State Quad

A young Asbury squad continues to grow up before our eyes, coming home after winning two of three matches at the Shawnee State Quad on Saturday. The Eagles now stand at 15-16 on the year after a 5-13 start.

Junior Ellen Adkison's move to the outside hitter position continues to pay off as she led the Eagles in each game in kills, totaling 45 over the four matches. Freshman Jenelle McClean posted a high in assists at 29.

The Eagles have six games remaining to get above. 500 overall to qualify for NCCAA post-season play. They will next take the court at Kentucky Christian on Tuesday night in Grayson. Their next home match is not until the following Tuesday, October 30th against Mountain State.
