Volleyball drops final two of regular season
The Eagles will head to this weekend's KIAC Tournament on a six-game losing streak after dropping a pair of matches against Lindsey Wilson (19-30, 17-30, 24-30) and Union College (20-30, 29-31, 13-30). The losses drop Asbury to 16-22 on the season, 4-3 in conference play.
Tough defense was the order of the day against Lindsey Wilson with the Eagles only registering two players with five kills apiece, junior Abby Andrews and sophomore Christina Marye. The Eagles would fare somewhat better in the nightcap with Andrews registering 10 kills.
The team travels to the KIAC Tournament on Friday to take on the host, St. Louis Pharmacy at 1:00 p.m. eastern time.
