Men's Soccer closes out Homecoming Weekend with 4-1 win
Senior Manes Preptit was one of three Eagles to score their first goals of the season on Saturday night before a Homecoming crowd of 715 in attendance to earn a 4-1 win over Berea. Preptit also registered two assists, his first coming on a header put away by Jason U'Wren in the 17th minute. DeFreitas would add his fifth goal of the season in the 30th minute to give the Eagles a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime. Preptit would then add his first goal, closing out the scoring for Asbury in the 52nd minute.
The Eagles will now turn their attention to a road match with Campbellsville University on Tuesday before returning home to face Oakland City (Ind.) University on Saturday. The OCU match is scheduled for a 2:30 kickoff.
