Men and Women put away St. Louis Pharmacy early

St. Louis, MO - Asbury's men and women traveled to St. Louis to face off against St. Louis Pharmacy with each team coming away with easy wins. The women were 66-31 winners thanks in part to balanced scoring with four players in double figures, led by Lindsey Wood's 13 points. Allison Smith came off the bench for nine rebounds and Lauren Lee dished out five assists.

The men cruised to a 98-51 win while shooting 54.4% (37-of-68) from the field for the game, including 13-of-24 from three point range. Derek Bland led all scorers with 20 points, making six threes. Michael Spann and Brandon Fentress joined Bland in double figures with 19 and 17 each.

The teams both return back home for their next games, each hosting their Senior Night activities. Seven seniors will play their final home game Tuesday against Berea at 7:00 p.m. The women will send off three seniors on Thursday night against Midway, also set for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff time.
