Cross Country turns in 2nd place finishes on Saturday
The Eagles hosted their only home meet of the season this Saturday for Homecoming. The competitors included Georgetown and Transylvania. Both men and women finished second place, each losing out to Georgetown (Ky.).
Highlighting the women's performance was a second place overall finish for Carolyn Tegge in a time of 21:11.00 for the 5K course while the men were led by Aaron Linard, who placed third overall for the 8K event in a time of 30:24.00. The team will next be in action at the Southeastern Classic in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, October 20th.
