Jack Defreitas

Jack Defreitas has been the Web Designer at Asbury University since April 2009. His primary duties include design of all Asbury University sites, meeting with academic departments and business offices to improve site content, and training staff and faculty to edit departmental web pages using quality web practices.

In addition to serving as the Web Designer, Defreitas also serves as an assistant coach for the Asbury University Women’s Basketball program (Athletic Staff Bio).

Before joining Asbury, Defreitas spent four years serving in several capacities at his alma mater, Central Christian College of the Bible, in Moberly, Mo. He was the Web Manager, Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director at Central Christian.

Prior to working at Central Christian, Defreitas spent seven years as a sports writer, sports editor, and photographer at the Moberly Monitor-Index, a daily newspaper in Moberly, Mo.

He received his bachelor’s degree in General Ministry from Central Christian College of the Bible.
