Academic Background

I graduated from Asbury University in 1988 with a major in history and a minor in computer science. In 1990, I received a Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.   I earned a Post-Masters graduate Certificate for Library Services in Distance Education from the University of Maryland - University College in 2005.

Academic Interests

I have many and varied interests.  Human-Computer interaction, social sciences, history, political science, the arts, culture, technology, and people are just a few.    I serve as the liason to several academic departments on campus:  Behavioral Sciences, Math and Computer Science, the Master of Social Work program, the Graduate Education Dept. and APS.
