Evening Circulation Supervisor
KL KL233
(859) 858-3511 ext. 2265

BIOGRAPHICAL:

I became the Evening Circulation Supervisor at Kinlaw Library in August of 2008. This job gives me the great opportunity of working with student assistants at the circulation desk in the evenings and on the weekends.

I met my wife, Carrie, while we were both students at Asbury University. We live in Nicholasville and have been blessed with a son, Samuel, who was born on March 17, 2007, and a daughter, Julianne, who was born on July 27, 2009. They have brought much joy to our lives. We are members of Nicholasville United Methodist Church, where we lead the college ministry and are active in the young adult ministry.

EDUCATION:

Ph.D. (in process) Nazarene Theological College/University of Manchester (Theological: Wesley Studies)

M.A. Asbury Theological Seminary, 2006 (Theological Studies)

B.A. Asbury University, 2003 (Bible & Theology: Pre-Seminary)

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My doctoral research is in the field of John Wesley studies. The focus is in the theology of the atonement as believed and promoted by Wesley. I also have considerable interest in the Patristic period (especially the theology of Irenaeus), the Reformation, C.S. Lewis, biblical hermeneutics and canonical issues. I am also a research assistant for the Center for the Study of World Christian Revitalization Movements, based at Asbury Theological Seminary, which has sparked further interest in the area of revitalization and revival movements across ecclesial traditions.
