Hannah Armour
Educational & Professional Background
I graduated with my B.A. from Asbury University (then College) in 2008, with a major in History and a minor in French. As a student, I worked in records in the registrar’s office. I have interned or volunteered in several library and archival settings, including the Historical Center of York County [South Carolina] and the Kentucky Historical Society, and have also completed archival projects for Asbury’s history honor society and for my church.
Family & Personal
I grew up as a missionary kid, the daughter of Bible translators working with Muslims in the Philippines and later in Niger, West Africa. My family is now based in North & South Carolina.
When I’m not at work, I’m likely to be found helping out at my church (where I serve as secretary for the children’s program), keeping in touch with family and friends, baking, listening to Irish or Southern gospel music, or researching my family history.
