BSW SOCIAL WORK FACULTY
POSITION: Full-time, tenure-track BSW Social Work Faculty position beginning August 2013. Position is primarily housed within the BSW program as the BSW Field Education Director, with the possibility of some teaching in the MSW program as well. Both the BSW and MSW are CSWE-accredited and located within the Department of Behavioral Sciences.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: an MSW degree, with a minimum of 2 years post-MSW practice experience; a PH.D. in social work or a related field is desired; teaching experience; and a passion for social work education and practice rooted in Christian faith. Successful candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in online course creation and delivery.

ACADEMIC RANK: Assistant/Associate Professor, depending on qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as BSW Field Director. Additional duties include creating & teaching various BSW courses, both face-to-face and online; student advising; campus-wide and departmental committee assignments; engagement in scholarly and professional activities; and modeling of serious Christian discipleship.
COMPENSATION: Compensation is competitive and dependent upon education and experience. Benefits include retirement (TIAA/CREF) and insurance plans.
BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT: The Behavioral Sciences Department houses the BSW, MSW, Sociology, Psychology, and Criminal Justice programs.
