Greg Swanson
Greg Swanson attended Asbury University from 1974 to 1976. He began his position as director of special gifts and university counsel in December 1998 and presently holds the title of Vice President for Institutional Advancement & General Counsel.
Greg came to Asbury University with over 16 years of legal experience in estate and business planning as well as corporate and real estate matters. Along with providing legal counsel to the University, he provides expertise in planned and estate giving and oversees development efforts.
He is a member of the Kentucky and Nebraska Bar Associations and Christian Legal Society. He is the primary representative for Asbury University to the National Association of College and University Attorneys and Council on Law in Higher Education. And he has served on the boards of the Central Kentucky Planned Giving Council and Kentucky Christian Foundation.
After attending Asbury University, he received his bachelor's degree in 1979 from Creighton University in Nebraska. He attended Creighton University School of Law and received the juris doctor degree in 1981.
Greg and his wife, Maria, have three children and live in Wilmore.
