Our mission as the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning (IESP) is to gather and interpret timely and relevant information to advance the mission of the university through the continuous improvement of quality institutional practices and student success across all programs.

Asbury University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and education specialist degrees.

The Registrar’s Office assists students with academic credits, organizes and administers academic records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations.
▾ Agreements and Partnerships
Agreements create clear parameters for engagement with external organizations. They provide liability protection for the institution and students. Written agreements reflect Asbury University’s commitment to operate with integrity and excellence.
▾ Academic Support Services
The Center for Academic Excellence serves students, primarily, through three different avenues: Writing Consulting, Peer Course Tutoring, and Academic Coaching.
Academic Accessibility Resources provides reasonable academic accommodations for students with disabilities in accordance with the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA).

The Office of the Provost oversees the Academic Policy and Curriculum Committee and reviews curriculum.
▾ Program Review
The Office of the Provost maintains the regular schedule for associative school program review processes.
▾ Undergraduate Research
The Office of the Provost oversees the undergraduate research efforts of the University and the support of such through the program SEARCH and administering the Dean's List.
Academic Units
▾ University Library
The Dennis F. and Elsie B. Kinlaw Library opened in 2001. This 73,000 square foot, three-floor facility includes computer labs, archives, a curriculum lab, and a media center in addition to the standard space for book stacks and for individual and group study.
The King Curriculum Lab is located on the lower level of Kinlaw Library, KL149. The mission of the Education Curriculum Lab is to “provide resources and services to facilitate the preparation of professional educators at the undergraduate and the graduate levels”.

▾ Honors Program
The Asbury University Honors Program invites students to join a community of scholars engaged in a themed enrichment experience which gives particular focus to the concept of human value and dignity, and the virtuous life. This intellectual and moral exploration is anchored within the rich perspective of historic, orthodox Christianity.
