"As It Is in Heaven" film set
Josh Overbay, crouching, directed an independent film crewed by Asbury students and alumni.

Film professor Josh Overbay has premiered a feature-length film, “As It Is in Heaven,” on the independent film circuit. Written by Overbay and his wife, Ginny, the film was crewed by dozens of Asbury students and alumni.

Mark Whitworth '84

Mark Whitworth ’84 is the Southeastern Conference Associate Commissioner for Men’s Basketball. A physical education major while a student at Asbury, he has also served on the Board of Trustees and spoke at an Asbury conference titled “Faith in a Culture of Competition.” He was recently interviewed at Sports Business Daily.

 

 

 

 


Lewis book by Dr.Devin Brown“A Life Observed: A Spiritual Biography of C.S. Lewis” has been named a Foreword Reviews Book of the Year Finalist in the Biography category. Written by Dr. Devin Brown, an English professor at Asbury and noted scholar on the life and writings of author C.S. Lewis, the book features a complementary forward by Lewis’ stepson, Douglas Gresham.
