New Students Urged to Submit Deposits
After months of filling out applications, writing essays and checking the mailbox, it’s official: the members of Asbury’s incoming Fall 2014 class are on their way. Years of hard work have paid off, and the University looks forward to welcoming a class like no other in Asbury’s 124-year history.
In the midst of all the things Asbury’s new freshmen and transfer students have begun to do to get ready for next fall, however, there’s one important thing to move to the top of their list: sending in their $200 deposits.
Why? Because Asbury is expecting the largest enrollment in its history this fall.
"Students and their families are making big decisions right now as they choose to commit to a college," said Admissions Director Lisa Harper. "The deposit is a sign of their intent to attend. The earlier it is received, the more choices may be available to them regarding where they will live and the classes they may take. This is a very exciting time as we see the incoming class take shape! We are praying for God to provide a deep sense of peace and clear direction for our families as they make this decision."
