Asbury welcomes Goddard for annual Fall Revival
By Kate Brannen

WILMORE, KY—Asbury University welcomes the Rev. Hule Goddard as this year’s speaker for the annual Fall Revival from Sept. 13 to Sep. 17. Revival services are in Hughes Auditorium at 10 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday in Hughes.
Goddard, a graduate of Oral Roberts University and Asbury Theological Seminary, is a sought-after speaker on the subject of youth ministry. He is the associate rector of discipleship and missions at Church of the Apostles, Columbia, S.C., and has been a member of the Anglican Mission in America since 2007.
The Campus Ministries office and president’s office are the primary organizers of the revival. Greg Haseloff, associate dean of Campus Ministries, says he hopes that "students who have not yet begun a relationship with Jesus will encounter the Spirit of God moving them into such a relationship" and that "students who have been struggling or apathetic will discover their hearts being renewed and revived through the worship" as a result of the revival.
He also hopes that "students who have not found a small group or other ways of being discipled will discover new connections" and "that our campus unity will continue to grow as we unite ourselves around our common salvation in Jesus Christ and our worship of Him as Lord and Savior."
The Fall Revival has taken place every year since Asbury’s founding in 1890.
