Jameson recital at Asbury College

WILMORE, KY— Eda Jameson will perform a piano recital Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Glide-Crawford Residence Hall parlor at Asbury College. Jameson of Medford, Ore., returns to campus for her 23rd concert season. The concert is free and open to the public.

Her first public appearance at the piano was age five. At 13, Jameson performed the Grieg A Minor Concerto with a full orchestra. She has played in concert halls all over the world for more than 70 years. She has made several recordings, and appeared on radio and television. With degrees from UCLA, she served on the faculty of Yuba College in California for 23 years.

Jameson will perform pieces by Franz Joseph Haydn, W. A. Mozart, Frédéric Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninoff. A reception will follow in the Glide-Crawford Parlor.
