Students and Faculty Explore Colorado
The week following graduation, Dr. Olsen led five students on the Colorado Wilderness Experience trip, a course offered jointly by the Science and Recreation departments. The trip provides a first hand look at the ecology and geology of the Rocky Mountains, and also park management practices ranging from the visitor's center to remote wilderness. Most of the week is spent off-trail in the high country, including several peaks over 13,000feet.
