Mark Schell
Professor

DR. MARK SCHELL is a native Kentuckian who graduated from Asbury College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Church Music Emphasis). He received his Master's degree in church music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also completed his D.M.A in organ performance in 1995.
In the fall of 1990, Dr. Schell began his tenure at Asbury College. He now serves as Professor of Organ and Church Music and conducts both the Men's Glee Club and the Handbell Choir. Beginning in July of 2007, Dr. Schell has taken on new responsibilities as Chair of the Department of Music.
In addition to his responsibilities at Asbury, Dr. Schell is a Minister of Music/Organist at the Wilmore Free Methodist Church.
