Greg Stepp
Instructor
Greg Stepp holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from The Unversity of Kentucky and in addition has received National Board Certification from the National Board For Professional Teaching Standards. A Public School Band Director for 22 years, Mr. Stepp has taught at LaRue County High School, Western Hills High School, Glasgow Independent Schools and is currently at Royal Spring Middle School and Scott County High School.
Mr. Stepp joined the Kentucky Army National Guard in 1995 and served as an enlisted member until his appointment as Commander of the 202nd Army Band in Dec. of 1997. Mr. Stepp has attended Warrant Officer Candidate School, Warrant Officer Basic Course and The Warrant Officer Advanced Course. He holds the Army Commendation Medal, The Army Achievement Medal, The Kentucky Merit Ribbon and The Kentucky Commendation Ribbon as well The National Defense Medal and service awards.
Mr. Stepp has been married for 24 years to Lorri and they have two grown young men: Aaron and Nathan.
