Rachel Coleman

Prof. Coleman is a career missionary with OMS International, and has served in Guayaquil, Ecuador, since 1992 with her husband, Randy (Asbury College 1983). Mrs. Coleman served as a seminary professor (Greek, Hebrew, Old Testament), an ESL teacher, and church planter. She and her husband are currently the directors of the OMS Student Fellowship on Asbury’s campus. Prof. Coleman also works as a professional translator, with the goal of making high-quality theological and devotional works available for seminary students and pastors in the Spanish-speaking world. She has published three translations (Tres veces por el valle, La estructura de nuestra fe, and La mente de Cristo) and is currently working on a fourth (Encontrándose con el Antiguo Testamento). The Colemans have two children, Robert (a junior at Asbury) and Rebecca (starting at Asbury Fall Semester 2007).
