Spotlight on location
Asbury College is located 15 miles from the “Horse Capital of the World”, Lexington KY and is centrally between Cincinnati Ohio and Louisville Ky. With over 25 Regional and community theatres in the tri-city area, theatre opportunities are abundant.
Theatre and Cinema Performance blends two unique types of performance into one major. Performance training focuses on acting, voice, movement and utilizes the Meiser-based, impulse-acting technique. Students also create original works as they learn the fundamentals of screen and play writing.
