WELCOME/TO TCP

Whether you are interested in performing for stage or screen, the regionally recognized Asbury College Theatre and Cinema Performance program offers opportunities for you to grow and learn. This program recognizes the similar yet diverse skills necessary to succeed on the stage and onscreen.
Acting for stage requires and energy and exaggeration of movement that appears ridiculous on the screen. By studying both stage and screen acting, TCP students have a greater understanding of their art as well as greater marketability after graduation.

Take a look at what other performers are doing as Theatre Cinema Performance students at Asbury College. Check out the courses offered, learn about our first class professors, and find out what plays and films we’re performing. Don’t forget to visit the showcase and take a look at clips and pictures of past performances as well as an introduction reel and interview with the Director of Theatre & Cinema Performance program, Jeff Day.
