The liberal arts emphasis at Asbury College means we feel students should not just be educated to perform a job but should grow intellectually so that they are mentally flexible to meet the future. Within the Communications major, students will all benefit from a core of classes to help them become mature communicators, but they can also choose an area of specialization that will allow them to explore their own talents on a deeper level as well as focus their major to best match their future vocations. The three areas of specialization are leadership, public relations and international communications. For students who do not decide to major in Communications, academic minors are available in Public Relations and Leadership.
