Philosophy
Philosophy is a subject which seeks understanding of ultimate questions about the nature of reality, knowledge, and values. It engages reflective, critical reasoning and dialogue. The philosophy major at Asbury has an emphasis on the formation of a Christian world view and broad understanding for other views. An undergraduate major in philosophy serves as an excellent basis for graduate work in philosophical, theological, or divinity programs as well as other academic and professional programs. As a second major, it expands critical engagement with the first major and equips students with key analytical skills.
