Art
Art is the study of an almost limitless variety of methods and materials that creatively express human thoughts, interests, emotion and ideas. Asbury offers areas of specialization in painting, sculpture, printmaking, fiber arts, ceramics, graphic design, photography, mixed media, stained glass, drawing and art history. Majors in Art and Art Education are offered for students who demonstrate interest, aptitude and proficiency in art. Art education, advertising, art therapy, jewelry design, interior decorating and public relations can also be areas of interest to students. At Asbury, the following area concentrations exist within the major:
Specialization Medium, Graphic Design and Art History.
