  • No experience is necessary! However, students will have time to work on their stories – new or old. So if you have a piece you would like to work on, be sure to bring it!
  • Students will be given writing prompts and will have the opportunity to workshop their writing in a caring and supporting environment.
  • Students will each receive a signed copy of Not Exactly Love, the latest novel for young people written by the course instructor, Asbury Professor Devin Brown.

About Your Instructor:

Devin Brown is a Professor of English at Asbury where he teaches classes in literature and creative writing. He has published 14 books – including two novels for young people and the latest biographies of C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien. He loves encouraging young writers and is a recipient of The Francis White Ewbank Award, Asbury’s highest honor for teaching.
