Residence Life Coordinators - (Paid Position)
Four positions are available in the traditional residence halls. These positions are generally offered to seniors who have served as Resident Assistants. This position is considered a staff position and considerable duties are included. The RLC works closely with the Resident Director in his/her particular residence hall in the administration of the hall. Contact your RD for more information concerning the hiring timeline.
Resident Assistants - ($3,200/yr)
Approximately forty positions are available mainly to juniors and seniors. Training and hiring begin early in the second semester of the year prior to service. The purpose of the RA is to provide service to the individual student, the floor/unit/apartments, and Asbury College by helping to create and maintain a pleasant living environment, being a source of help and referral, and cooperating in developing activities and programs, and enhancing the educational value of the residence hall.
Resident Assistants for Aldersgate Commons - ($4,500/yr)
Six positions are available in Aldersgate Commons - two for males and four for females. The RA's work as a team, assisting the RD in building community within the residence hall, maintaining discipline, and performing various administrative duties. RA's also provide leadership for community service, leadership development, and the living and learning communities.
