University Filmmakers

Entry requirements for University students differ from those for high school students. University films must have been completed by currently enrolled Asbury University students, and may not be submitted more than two years after their completion dates. Only films by students currently enrolled at Asbury University may be submitted. To ensure that your entry can be accepted, please make sure to reference the applicable requirements. Submissions must be accompanied by an Entry Form, which includes a complete list of entry requirements.

Prizes and Categories

Each selected entry will be premiered at the Highbridge Film Festival. University filmmaker entries are eligible for the following awards:

• Best Drama
• Best Comedy
• Best Screenplay
• Best Cinematography
• Best Audio
• Best Editing
• Best Original Musical Score
• Best Super Short
• Redemptive Storytelling Award
• Audience Choice Award

Winners will be screened at the Ichthus music festival stage, and all winners will receive a Highbridge Film Festival Award. Winning films will also be available online through the Highbridge Film Festival and Asbury TV websites.
