International Students

  1. If you are a nonnative speaker of English, an official score report for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) must be sent directly to the College from the Education Testing service (ETS).

  2. You will need to complete a Certificate of Finance Form and an I-20. If you need these forms sent to you, or if you have any questions, please call the Asbury College Financial Aid Office.

Mission Statement

  1. The Mission of the Asbury College MSW Program arises from a belief in the inherent worth and dignity of all persons. This belief is sustained by the College's commitment to historic orthodox Christianity as expressed in the Wesleyan tradition's core emphases on personal and social holiness, resulting in love for all persons individually and for the world, with particular concern for the poor, the vulnerable and the exploited; a passion to seek justice and an understanding that God's grace provides all persons with transforming potential. Graduates will be prepared for theologically informed advanced social work practice in national and global contexts that is agency or church-based.


    All applicants must read the statement below, as well as read and sign the Character and Fitness form included in the application packet.
