Online Bachelor’s in Education Degree Requirements
Our elementary education program is designed to help you become proficient in the pedagogical strategies required to effectively teach in an elementary school environment, as well as build a strong knowledge base in the fields you’ll be teaching.
Major areas include literature, history, humanities, philosophy, music/art history, writing, communications, social sciences, science, foreign language and mathematics. Requirements for the online elementary education degree include:
- 39 credits in Foundations general education courses
- 80 credits in core education and discipline-specific courses
- 5 credits in elective courses to complete the 124-hour bachelor’s degree requirement
Students are required to complete clinical education components in Kentucky elementary schools, making this program particularly suitable for Kentucky residents or those who live close by.
