Major areas include literature, history, humanities, philosophy, music/art history, writing, communications, social sciences, science, foreign language and mathematics. Requirements for the online elementary education degree include:

  • 39 credits in Foundations general education courses
  • 80 credits in core education and discipline-specific courses
  • 5 credits in elective courses to complete the 124-hour bachelor’s degree requirement

Students are required to complete clinical education components in Kentucky elementary schools, making this program particularly suitable for Kentucky residents or those who live close by.
