The George E. Luce Physical Activities Center
Considered one of the finest facilities of its kind in the region, the Luce Physical Activities Center provides recreational, educational and training experiences. The weight equipment, indoor running track and auxiliary gymnasium offer a variety of fitness activities. Looking for a competitive setting? Students, faculty and community members attest the Luce Center's natatorium and four racquetball courts are among the best in the area.
Asbury College is also committed to making the Luce Physical Activities Center accessible to as many individuals and groups as possible. The Luce Center staff offers a variety of community instructional programs, ranging from gymnastics lessons and low impact aerobics to swimming lessons. Limited community memberships are also available for individuals and families.
In addition to serving as the home for the Asbury Eagles intercollegiate basketball, volleyball and swimming teams, the Luce Center has been the site of an NAIA district volleyball tournament, YMCA/YWCA state swimming competition, NAIA National Tennis Tournament, training for Kentucky's Special Olympic Team and high school basketball games. From recreational novices to highly skilled athletic teams, the Luce Center can meet a wide range of needs
