Home for the HOLIDAZE?
Trying to pull off a "Hallmark Moment" and nothing goes right? Sometimes we think that the holidays are somehow "magical" and that come the end of October, everything that's in shambles the entire rest of the year, is supposed to just all come together, but that's not always the case.
FANTASY . . . vs . . . FACT
Blazing fireplaces . . . Sense of loneliness
Favorite foods . . . Boredom
Close family times . . . Relationship loss & change
Reuniting with friends . . . Guilt
Unrealistic expectations get us in trouble.
- ASK for what you want and don't expect anyone to read your mind. Let go of the outcome.
- PLAN AHEAD, allow extra time for everything...rushing around will only raise your blood pressure and lower your overall enjoyment.
- Be CREATIVE and challenge old traditions and do something different this holiday season.
- LIMIT your social engagements and CHOOSE how you want to spend your time and with whom.
